If we thought glasses were a challenge, they are no match for the patch. Covering Cashel's good eye will train his brain to keep asking for and processing information through his left eye. It is all for a good outcome. But boy does it piss Cashel off. We have been working at two hours a day but have only succeeded once. When Cashel is tired or hungry (as he is most days after school) the patch is a major foe.
Today, however, he had a good morning nap followed by a nice snack, so he tolerated the patch quite well. He even wore it to the park with his shades. It tires him out quickly, so he is now sacked out on the car ride home. Before lunch. Ruh-roh...
I'm thinking of you all and sending my love. Amazing what we have to put these sweet boys of ours through, eh? Cashel and his patch and glasses, Charlie and his splint and therapies. Poor honey bears.
