Chilly Weather and Handknit Outerwear

Last weekend, it got chilly in Dallas. Or, should I say, chilly FOR Dallas. It was between 50 and 60 degrees, which meant it was time to get out one of the sweaters that Gran Mary made for Mackey and a hat that I made for her (when she was "Newbie"). It was so fun to see these things on her and not just in the drawer. I think she looks like a little Icelandic princess. These pictures were taken on the quilt that Mackey made (that's my great grandmother Mackey) while sitting on our front lawn (aka Mackey's favorite place on Earth).
